Very good example of the highly sought after tenor banjo from Clifford Essex. The 'Paragon' is one of the the most popular tenor banjo used by many of the top Irish banjo players over the years and is on many players bucket list. This particular banjo has been owned by the current owner for over 50 years. Hardly any fretwear at all but some warping and light cosmetic damage to the resonator. This is a really nice playable plectrum banjo. Handmade 5 string banjo made in Manchester by much unknown maker Keith Tarleton that's been converted into a plectrum banjo. **Excellent Condition** New build with wider fingerboard! Superbly built 19 fret tenor banjo built by Rob Clarke from Stoke on Trent. The banjo is fitted with a Richelieu arch-top tone ring. Also features a spliced maple neck, maple pot, and a highly flamed maple resonator with black edging and a one-piece flange. Includes 4 top quality Schaller eccentric planetary geared rear facing tuners. The peghead, and fingerboard inlays and overall shape are reminiscent of a Clifford essex Paragon.
