The Deering Goodtime Leader ‘Carolina King’ is our top of the range, highest specification Goodtime ‘Special’ Banjo, primarily designed for hard driving bluegrass and picking styles. The set-up on this banjo is influenced by the Carolina King himself, Jens Kruger! It is an excellent natural maple closed back resonator banjo fitted with the NEW Deering patent pending 2010 tone ring. It has Deering railroad capo spikes fitted at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets to facilitate easy key changes for different tunings. Also fitted to this excellent banjo is a set of JK hand-crafted Eagle-Puretone strings. The three ply violin maple rim is the same quality as found on pre-war Mastertone banjos.

A professional 5 string banjo featuring a solid maple neck and bridge, double co-ordinator rods for adjustment and a cast tone ring for enhanced tone. The solid construction gives a bright, clear tone. The Ozark 2141G professional banjo has a wood shell and an attractive flamed maple resonator with inlaid rings, enhanced by high quality chrome plating on the fittings and armrest. The tailpiece is a ‘Gibson-style’ clamshell type and the 22 nickel silver frets are perfectly fitted and polished for smooth playing. An 11” REMO Weatherking head and high quality tuners are also fitted.
