Description
Now owned by the Gold Tone Music Group these new generation Ome banjos are built to the same very high standards in their own dedicated banjo workshop located in Titusville, Florida USA. Wayne Rogers and his team are carrying on the wonderful banjo legacy that goes back to the origins of Ome from the early 1960's.
This 12" Tupelo banjo boasts a rich, resonant tone, perfect for traditional music styles. The cherry rim, paired with a Renaissance head, delivers a warm, full sound. This model features 24 brackets for enhanced stability and projection.
The elegant paddle-shaped headstock showcases ebony buttons atop Rickard Cyclone tuners, complementing the vintage aesthetic. A comfortable 1 11/32" nut width makes playing a breeze.
The cherry neck features an ebony fingerboard with 17 hardened nickel frets and brass dot inlays, all finished with a smooth Tung oil. Brass dot side markers and an ebony capped heel add to the refined look.
A custom 5/8" OME bridge and rim stick coordinator rod ensure optimal stability and tone. Aged brass hardware, including the tension hoop and Sweetone tailpiece, contribute to the banjo's classic appeal. The wooden armrest, tortoise shell binding, and ebonite rim cap provide both comfort and durability.
With a 25.5" scale length and weighing approximately 5.7lbs, this banjo is comfortable to play and easy to transport. It comes strung with .010, .012, .015, .024w, .010 gauge strings in standard GDGBD tuning and includes a deluxe hardshell case for protection.

Set-Up: Each banjo we supply is individually set up in our on-site Specialist Workshop here at Eagle Music. Any banjo purchased from Eagle will be fully SET UP, checked for intonation and playability and tuned ready for playing straight out of the box!
