The Deering Goodtime Leader ‘Carolina King' electro is our top of the range, highest specification Goodtime ‘Special’ Banjo, primarily designed for hard driving bluegrass and picking styles, also fitted with the superb Kavanjo pickup system. 'The Classical' is our latest model featuring Aquila nylon banjo strings for a mellow, round and classical sound. It is fitted with a Knot-Less tailpiece to reduce the break angle between the bridge and rim of the banjo. This helps to create the beautiful, mellow tone. This banjo combines the feel of the new with the sound of the old. And can of course very easily be converted back to a standard steel strung 5 string. The Deering Goodtime Leader model has a higher specification than the standard Goodtime banjo. It is fitted with a set of back facing Planetary Geared Deering Classic banjo tuning pegs and inlaid black side dot neck position markers. It is an excellent open back banjo with a USA rock maple neck and is set up for playing all styles, it is lightweight and easy to handle and carry for travelling if needed. The sound from this banjo is incredible! The three ply solid violin maple rim is the same quality as found on pre-war Mastertone banjos.

The awesome Greg Deering Limited Edition Banjo ...Curly & burl walnut, super deluxe ornate Deering special custom shop banjo. With Deering -06- 20 hole bronze tone ring. The Deering Greg Deering Limited - GDL is a fantastic sounding banjo! It has a very fast action neck and is extremely responsive to the player. It is also an absolute beauty to look at!
