A perfect travel banjo or the ideal child's instrument for the young picker. The Cripple Creek Mini has a maple neck with rosewood fretboard and hard rock maple rim ( eight inches in diameter).

Note: this banjos is tuned to C (like the fifth fret of a full-sized banjo)

An A-scale short neck version of our popular AC-1 5-string banjo. The composite makes it very durable. The size makes it lightweight and easy to transport, which is perfect for travelling, taking to the beach or for a child to play on. Includes gig bag.

The Gold Tone AC-Mini 5 string banjo packs more punch than you might expect from an entry-level banjo. The rim is molded from a composite material that is strong, consistent, and durable. The Nato mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard and (like all of our banjos) a two-way adjustable truss rod. The composite construction of our AC pot means maximum power and projection for minimum cost and weight. All of this comes at a price that ANYONE can afford.

A true lightweight backpacker banjo weighing in at only two lbs (0.907 Kg). This 5-string banjo also brilliant for getting children started on bluegrass and other styles of 5-string banjo.The Plucky is a backpacker's dream!  It is tuned to open C (CGCEG) or open D (DADF#A) as standard or you can tune it open G by changing to strings gauged 016, .034, .024, .019, .016. Set up perfectly in our on-sight workshop just like the big boys. Supplied in a bag.
