The classic 'Waverley' style nickel plated banjo tailpiece often found on pre-war banjos. Excellent quality sturdy banjo tailpiece that has five 'pllars' that can be used with loop end strings to fit 4 or five string banjos. Also has five 'holes' that can be used with ball end strings.
Note: when useing loop end strings, the traditional way is to lay the strings on the front of the tailpiece.
Also has a knurled thumb screw which levers the top plate for adjusting the angle / height on this excellent tailpiece.

'L' Shaped nickel steel tailpiece bracket with 8.50mm .334" diameter hole and 3.96mm (5/32") elongated slot. In use the 8.50mm hole slots over the end end of a coordinating rod and is help in place by a bolt. The 3.96mm elongated slot houses the tailpiece screw and hexagon nut.

The 'Clamshell' nickel plated, spring loaded, classic design tailpiece is often found on pre-war Gibson banjos. This tailpiece is also known as the 'Claw' tailpiece. This taipiece can be fitted to 5-string and 4-string banjos. On the internal bottom plate it has five 'fingers' that can be used with loop ended strings. It also has five 'holes' that can be used with ball ended strings.
The bottom plate is also fitted with a knurled thumb screw making it fully adjustable for angle and height. It also has a spring loaded 'clamshell' top cover plate.
Nickel plated Kershner style tailpiece for 5-string or 4-string banjos. The heavier mass of the Kershner gives plenty of sustain and also allows the tailpiece to sit very close to banjo head. Supplied with fixing screw and hexagon nut.
