We set up each banjo with the correct gauge strings for tuning and playing 'Irish tenor banjo' At the set-up stage, we file the nut and the bridge to suit the heavier gauge strings and set the action and intonation. We tune each banjo to G, D, A, E for 'Irish' dropped tuning.
