Individually hand-built using traditional materials & “Old World” craftsmanship. Solid Spruce Top, Solid Maple back & sides with Ebony fingerboard & adjustable ebony bridge. A-style body with F-holes for warm, ringing tones & excellent sound projection. This model has the new contoured comfort edge for a smoother 'comfortable' feel and a vintage nitro cellulose finish.

The 5 series mandolins from Eastman feature higher grade tonewoods both in looks and tone than the 3 series and also feature better quality tuners, neck binding, gloss finish and a hard case. A truly deluxe mandolin.
