Produced for the 50th anniversary of the birth of the original Stratocaster in 1954, the 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster featured the pinnacle of modern guitar innovation, including three Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) Strat pickups, S-1 switching, modern "C" neck shape, 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm, staggered locking tuning machines, and a commemorative 50th anniversary hardshell case.
