Full description

Description

Modelled on the Grover Tune-kraft bridge, The Stew-Mac bridge is an economical way to check out the use of a 'compensated' bridge. The bridge saddles on this bridge are staggered to give individual 'compensation for each string. This design helps with intonation problems when playing up-the-neck or when using a capo. It helps the player with key changes, and minimises the need for costant tuning.

This a cheap bridge but well worth the money. It is poorly finished but nothing that a minute with smooth file/nail file won't fix. Compensation is accurate and bridge works fine, although I would prefer a more expensive type with ivory style insets. As with many of these small items Eagle's profit margins seem quite modest.

Unfortunately too high for my purpose, but that's my error. Passed on to friend who is happy with it.
