The Ozark Electro Guitar Bouzouki is unique in so much that the regular width guitar neck is fitted to the "Folk Jumbo" sized guitar body at the 16th fret and has 8 strings in four courses tuned G D A E as an octave Bouzouki (String guages G 18/48,D 16/36,A 20/20, E 13/13). The body has a solid cedar top with a distinct Celtic knot sound hole design. The back and sides are rosewood and bound with flamed Maple. The fingerboard is inlaid with Maple position markers in the same Celtic Knot design as the sound hole. The asymmetric rosewood faced headstock has truss rod access and is equipped with high quality chrome plated Grover enclosed tuners. The pre-amp section is the superb Aretc edge TN EQ under saddle transducer with Bass, Middle, Treble and presence controls. Feed back issues are easily resolved with a contour control (notch filter) and phase switch. As if that were not enough the pickup also has a built in tuner. The unit is powered with a 9 volt or PP3 battery which is housed under the flip top control panel and is easily accessed.
