Description
Please note...this is a 'Prop' stand, it is not designed for hanging heavy instruments. The base of the instruments needs to be able to rest on the floor. Light instruments such as fiddle and uke may be hung on this stand.
Steve 'Eagle' Noon writes …It’s almost two decades since I saw my first ‘Pub Prop', It was placed in my hand by the inventor, Brian Rathmill saying “tell me what you think of this”? It was an ingenious idea and a must for the ‘gig bag kit’. It was hand crafted from steel, milled, drilled, filled, hinged and threaded with a rubber protection sleeve around the neck support. As a qualified precision engineer myself I thought …Wow this is a brilliant idea …but very expensive to manufacture. Brian pursued his idea through to the production of a ‘moulded’, affordable ‘Pub Prop’ which is the excellent product that we see today. Brian was from our ‘neck of the woods’ and I play music with friends in the Manchester sessions that still own an original ‘Briarmill Table Prop Stand’, he is sadly missed on the local music scene, but Brian left behind for us a legacy in his ingenious ‘Pub Prop’.

Customer reviews
I decided to get another one for the recently purchased 12-string guitar, even though the first 2 have both had the foot fall off from the under-table screw adjustment. It's a bit of a niggle, but being that there's nothing much out there like them, I'm just hoping that it doesn't happen to this one too!
Otherwise...... 5-stars
By the way, the rating system below isn't working properly. It should read 2 bars for value for money (on account of the breakages). 1 bar for durability and zero for looks.
