Customer reviews
That all changed a few months ago when a friend of mine gave me a Chinese 'Tower' chromatic C harmonica, that he regarded as junk. I quickly found it wasn't the best instrument in the world, but it played tunefully, and was truly chromatic, as I found within a few hours, when I grasped the essentials of the button! I very quickly became aware of its musical similarity to the Anglo Chromatic Concertina, which I play, and found it rendered folk/dance tunes remarkably well. Only problem being it worked well in enough (In C), but G is the most useful key in our folk sessions. So I made two decisions I wanted 1- a high end chromatic harmonica and 2- one in G! Consequently I spent a few weeks agonising about which one I should purchase .....Hohner Chromonica, Seydel, etc. etc. But not Suzuki- simply out of my price range! This particular model, however was actually on sale at a competitive price, so I watched the vids, studied the specs, and quickly realised it was a no- brainer.....there was nothing not to like!
So I purchased it.......does everything it says on the tin - heft, high build quality, phosphor bronze reeds, fully serviceable and has a very loud shout! Sweet and tuneful on every note and chords like a concertina! Superb bit of kit!
