The Sandpiper range was developed using a mixture of modern production techniques and traditional Italian reed technology to give a series of instruments that play to a high standard and are solidly built at a price that is not going to break the bank. One of the original Sandpiper melodeons, the Stint is an ultra-portable, powerful, single-voiced melodeon at a great price. It has high-quality Italian reeds, a full length 21 button flat keyboard, and a stop to remove the thirds from the chords as standard. The Stint's tone is powerful and strident despite its diminutive size and is not unlike a concertina. The grille has beautifully designed fretwork inspired by nature.
