Handmade to great standards in Leeds in the United Kingdom, this Teardrop mandolin from Oakwood has remarkable volume for such as small body. The tone is bright and clear, with a cutting edge that makes it ideal for sessions. They use Gotoh machine heads, a simple tailpiece (with a beautiful wood cover), rosewood fingerboards and rosewood or sycamore bindings to help keep the cost down. This Neapolitan mandolin was designed and crafted by Leonore Paloma in Italy and retailed in H.W. Howe in Huddersfield in the early 1900's. A beautiful yet playable antique.

Solid carved AA spruce top with solid maple back and sides.

Fender FM-61SE SB Sunburst Electric Mandolin. Features one F-hole, a semi-hollow body and a pearloid pickguard.

Built in the 1990's, this is a fine example of Stefan Sobell's craftsmanship, featuring a Solid German Spruce Top with Solid High Figured Maple Back and Sides. This mandolin also has a wider body and wider neck (see full specifications below).
